University Language Budget Cuts "Very Concerning" - Pringle

Mike Pringle MSP has described news that the University of Edinburgh has decided to cut close to £200 000 pounds from the The School of Literature, Languages and Cultures budget as "very concerning". There are fears that the cuts could lead to affect the range and quality of language teaching provided by the University.

Redistribute Food to Tackle Food Poverty - Pringle

Mike Pringle MSP has called on the Scottish Government, supermarkets and businesses to back Cyrenians FareShare's campaign to redistribute excess food to the homeless and disadvantaged to help fight food poverty and poverty based malnutrition in Scotland. His comments came following a visit to Cyrenians Fareshare's Edinburgh and Lothian's distribution centre.
